We opened this for my friend's birthday, along side and after a 2019 Burg 1er as well. This is coiled very tightly still, like it's nowhere ready to enjoy at this point in time. It was nice, but clearly just a shadow of what it WILL BE, later down the time. The quality and complexity are obvious, but its going to need another 10-ish years. Check back in 2035

words escape me... this is spectacular... huge depth of rich red fruit, nice acidity, smooth tannin... and you can tell the spice is coiled up in there and ready to unfold over several decades... its possible this wine will last 40-50 years or more... WOW
Reduktivt, mørkt og uforløst. Man aner kvaliteten, men den gjemmer seg godt. Rå konsentrasjon og høy fruktkvalitet, men dette er ikke godt å drikke nå. Kommer til å bli meget bra. Sitter lenge med heftige og tildels bitre tanniner. Klarer ikke score dette nå.
Muted nose. Sense of underlying deep fruit. Quite sweet on the palate. Fantastic fruit intensity. Somewhat weak acidity. Score somewhat reflecting future potential. Will wait 4+ years with next bottle.

Some Wines from the 2018 La Paulée Grand Tasting of 2015 Burgundy (The Fairmont, San Francisco): Bigger and riper than the Ursules, but still essentially elegant Gevrey Premier Cru. Wonderful soil, citrus, red fruit, acidity, and length. More tannic finish than the first wine, also should age gracefully. Just a beautifully shaped young Clos St. Jacques that is a wine of class and subtlety rather than power.

Denne vinen er ikke intens, men heller ikke sky på nesen. Vinen er rett også slett bare i aromamessig perfekt balanse med presise forførende silkeaktige røde bær. Dette lukter fortreffelig!
Vinen er ikke spesielt konsentrert men leverer presis og fløyelsesmyk røde frukt med kirsebær, bringebær, lett lær, noe eksklusiv sjokolade og med lette tretoner på paletten. Denne vinen bare leker og koser seg. Tanninene er faktisk ganske så faste, men oppleves som stealth-aktige, du verken ser eller føler de noe særlig. Utgangen på vinen er lang med et fint steinete mineralsk preg. Nydelig vin dette. www.botti.no

Wow this is stunning, for me the wine of tasting, opulent nose lots of complex aromatics. the palate has immense power yet absolute balance, darkest ripe summer fruit, minerals, long, perfectly integrated tannin, beautiful and succulent wine. sold out apparently which makes perfect sense.

Louis Jadot Cellar Visit and Dinner (Domaine/Maison Jadot and Couvent des Jacobins - Beaune): Barrel tasting at the domaine. Black fruit with braised meat flavors and spice. Long and incredibly well balanced already with excellent concentration. 93-95 point potential here, a great performance.
