The cork was hardly stained so I did not expect a deep red wine but this was deeper than I expected, nice body, slightly acidic. No single grape in this wine and not easy to detect the mix, though I thought I detected some Petit Verdot. Said to be at the end of its window but I think there is a bit more life in this yet. I was hovering between 90 and 89 and plumped for 89

Deep purple with lively fruit nose. Well balanced, dry, fruit forward silky Washington Rhone blend. Plenty left in the tank to age some more. Alas, our only bottle. .

My final bottle of 4 I purchased from Garagiste. I have enjoyed them all, but this one might have been the best. Opened, but not decanted, at a NYC restaurant with my wine group. The restaurant gave us high quality wine glasses, that probably cost more per glass than the bottle did! This may have been our WOTN. It was elegant, with a medium length finish.

Tart and savory out of the bottle, the fruit gained strength with air. Blackberry, raspberry coulis, kirsch, cedar, eucalyptus and vanilla with some roasted meats and olive. Despite the high Mourvedre content the baseline is under developed, the mid palate a little acidic and the finish noticibly alcoholic (kirsch and vanilla). Tasty, but there are Spanish Monastrells that cost less and drink better.

Popped 'n poured at an Italian restaurant with my wine group. Our last (and youngest) wine of the night. About half of us had it after we finished dinner. Enjoyed by everyone.

Medium dark reddish purple. Aromas of blackberry, black olive, violets, black pepper, and herbs. The palate offers juicy dark fruit, savory notes, and fine grained tannins although it’s a bit hot at 14.8% alcohol. Nice entry level Rhône blend made from 62% Mourvèdre, 21% Syrah, 17% Grenache. $25.

Popped 'n poured at a Turkish restaurant in NYC with my wine group. I purchased this from Garagiste, and for the price, this was outstanding. My wine group loved it, nice aromatics and a medium length finish.

Rich, full, and lush. Leads with all kinds of heavy black fruit--think blackberry compote, pie, jam, etc. All the fruit is followed by some earth, some river rock, and some vanilla. Just barely enough tannins to keep things together. Definitely a heavy wine, and one that is really well aligned with my palate.
I bought 2 of these from Garagiste and should have put a 1 in front of that!

Really good with tons of black fruit, some oak, some river rock, and a pleasant long finish. Firing on all cylinders right now.

inky red color. Dark fruit and medicinal aromas. Medium weight. Ripe blackberry and cherry flavors with good acidity on a lengthy finish.

Earthy, full bodied, dry and well balanced- one of the best Washington reds I have tasted.

MSG, mostly Mourvedre. Deep garnet hue; Hot wet stone with a heather nose. Slightly sweet peppery dark-fruit rush. Very nice.
