Med lemon. Med+ intensity, autolysis, yeast, dough, some green and citrus. Med acid, overall a fairly decent Champagne for the price. Fairly atypical of Champagne in this price range. A little strong on the autolysis notes, fruit was a little lacking in intensity. 88 pts

Superb champagne dominated by Pinot Noir, notes of brioche and pear. It has good balance with solid fruit and crisp citrus acidity. The tangy, mineral texture binds everything together. It was ready to drink and was excellent, would buy again

Served as an aperitif, writing on the back label so small I could not pick up the details. Noted 62% pinot. Some sharp edges from mid palate at first, but smoothened out with time . A bit bready nose, showing depth and some development. Bruised red apples, with fresh green apples mixed in, adding more citrus towards the finish. Good backbone. Potential for development here. Sells for eqv. to USD 35 in Norway now so QPR really good. Should 90p.

well made, soft full flavours of Ay pinot, with some Verzenay style and backbone leavened by crisp Grand Cru Cote des Blancs chardonnay. Highish dosage makes a soft finish. Clean and pleasant to quaff, but not very complex.

Yellow colour, good mousse - appealing appearance
Yellow Apples, typical pinot nose. Quite young and undeveloped
Quite rich with some sweetness from the dosage, Yellow Apples dominating the finish,
A good value for money champagne , maybe not the most refined sample from Ay, but overall very satisfying

Typical notes of green apple, pear, etc. what I find unique is a slight floral note on the nose.
