Excellent SB. Crisp, racy, fresh fruit, not overdone with the grapefruit, but obviously very citrusy. Great value for the quality. Definitely would recommend.

Popped and poured from a half bottle. Vibrant nose of currant, cat pee and a bit of tropical fruit. Medium bodied, dry, showing lush flavors of tropical fruit, grapefruit, currant and cat pee with firm acidic structure. Great Sauvignon Blanc. This is always a solid quaffer.

Had in a restaurant. Typically understated, lean, fresh and elegant. Has restrained white stone fruits, pepper, herbal characters and nice minerals. Ends mediumish.

Nice typically grapefruit aroma and taste NZ Sauvignon Blanc. High acid. Like eating a Granny Smith apple and chasing it with a glass of grapefruit juice. Bracing, refreshing, and puckering all at the same time. At this price point it's a good value for sure.

Villa Maria Tastings -2017; FirstSipNZ and Snooth: Very pale straw color with gooseberry, grapefruit, lime, fresh green herbs and sliced jalapeno aromas with a hint of lemongrass.
an excellent sb. apples, pears and mowed grass on the nose but the flavor is a general citrusy one. the usual grapefruit in the flavor. the best things about the wine is the well rounded flavor and the minerality on the finish. just an excellent sb.

A classic and delicious Marlborough SB. Lively and herbaceous on the nose, the palate has substantial but balanced acidity, with telltale NZ SB gooseberry rounded out by a panoply of citrus, including lime, pink grapefruit and tangerine. The mouthfeel is also quite caressing for a sauvignon blanc from NZ, which would help this pair well with richer dishes, in addition to classic sshellfish pairings. At $10-12, this is consistently a wonderful wine.

A well made herbaceous style Sauvignon Blanc from the Marlborough. Aromas of lime, crisp apples, sun-dried hay, and hot peppers. Silky-tangy mouthfeel of lime, ripe stone fruit, and underripe pineapple, with that little bit of hot pepper which shows through again. Gentle acidity, with medium to a long limey finish.
