Decanted for an hour, the wine exhibits powerful floral, oak and black fruit aromas. On the palate, blackberry jam, black cherries, cassis and licorice in a well-balanced and complex offering. Grippy tannins lead to a 20-second mineral-laced finish.

Bold floral and black fruit aromas with complex flavors of blackberry, cherry, licorice and light oak. Velvety tannins and a espresso and mocha-laced finish. Great wine. Looking to purchase more.

On the nose, intense minerality and black cherry. On the palate, mocha, black fruit and silky tannins. This one still needs time in the bottle or at least a three-hour decant. Love Futo wines.

This is a nicely built wine that while good now, deserves to be cellared for the next 3-5 years.
Decanted for two hours and it still needed another 90 minutes to begin to round into form. Typical Futo quality on display here.
Saw in a TN from AG I think that this vintage had roughly 40% Stags Leap fruit in it, marking the highest % to date to go along with their estate Oakville fruit.
HOLD remaining bottles until 2023+, enjoy for next 10+

This got a few hours of air. Drank over two hours.
Also had a 2014 Corra open.
The Corra got most preference (including mine), but it was a very tight race. This wine had more of a Stag's Leap profile to me, with very focused juice. It was not as layered as the Corra, and the finish was just a tick behind. Still plenty happy with it, with room to grow.

Needs 2 hour decant and then just begins to open. Prior to that, it is monolithic and dull. After, very nice.
Give these 2 more years to try next.
