I would score this higher but its starting to loose its sugar, but is that the wine’s fault or mine for waiting this long. Lovely cherry and raspberry on the first taste, long finish and still quite tannic. Love Cedar creek wines, and this one is no exception.

More feminine than the Block 2 with less tannin, more acid and floral notes. I really like this wine but there does seem to be some bottle variation as some bottles are great and some are good. Or is it just me.

Almost dark red. Oak impression is now mainly textural. This has matured very nicely.

Medium+ red. Nose is slight of dark cherry. Deep fruit, cherry to blackberry with considerable grip and oak influence. This needs more time.

Of the single-block Pinots at this winery, I prefer this style - in terms of concentration & complexity.
With a dominating note of cherry nibs, there is a fine tuned frame of oak on the nose.
Dry, medium acid - strong but smooth silky tannin - medium body. These nibs are rounded out with tar, oak, whipped frosting, minerality & brine.
Long finish to this pungent, (masculine?..can I still say this?), punchy Pinot Noir.

Six nations tasting (49 King Street Wharf): slight red cherry and coffee…savoury with slight butter, fine mouth coating tannins. Meh
