  • Strangely weird and interesting liking walking into a room with black lights and colored strobes coming at you from all directions, pale red, raspberries and must, a whiff of BBQ pork, sour grapes and acid, then you emerge from the room asking yourself WTF was that while looking back over your shoulder and trying to decide whether you want to go in for another look. Then again popping it in the middle of Game of Thrones might have had something to do with it too ...

  • This is as close as I get to enjoying pink wine in the summer. It's skin-contact pinot gris, but it's not like a heavy-duty orange wine. The color is a rosy salmon and it's nimble on the palate with fresh juicy grapefruit flavors. It's kind of reminiscent of the Enderle & Moll grauburgunders but a bit deeper and more weighty. The important thing, though, is that it retains the fundamental refreshment value of the white grapes, which not all skin-contact whites do.

  • Wine Bar with Tim (Tofino): Pink cloudy color; wonderful complex nose with strawberry, grapefruit, lovely; palate is good but less complex. Wonderful overall. 92-93
