Still drinking quite well for a nearly 10 year old Cote Chalonnaise wine. Aromas of citrus and pear, but kind of muddy and not as precise one could hope. Fairly rich on the palate and a little more rounded than the last bottle with a spicy and slightly nutty finish. Very good for what it is and likely to last for a few more years still.

Ugly cork, covered in mold and seemingly a poor seal as it is wet through. It is amazing as sometimes ugly corks can yield fine wine, and this is one of those cases. At first a bit of bottle stink, like old rubber band, but this gives way to lots of lemon, kumquat, some red apple, a bit of creaminess in a meringue-like way. Tons of mineral on this (granite) as well as medium plus acidity. A bit hot at 14% ABV but not too distracting. Drink up as I don't see this going anywhere amazing but I quite enjoyed this, killer value at around $10.

Medium yellow. Not showing any signs of fatigue whatsover with aromas of lemon, pear, a touch of spice and minerality. Medium-bodied and a little bit on the leaner angular side with good acidity and length. But well balanced with just enough oak to not be intrusive. I'm not sure if this would actually improve with any more time, but a bottle in this shape should be able to hold for at least a few more years.

Scubarex Oyster and Crab Offline (Scubarex house): 2nd time I have had this with consistent notes. Lightly oaked white burg. Moderate concentration. Notes of pears and canning spices. good grip on the finish. 90 points.

Still great- round, rich, a little spicy. I think this has probably mellowed a bit and probably drinks better than ever. I'll hold the rest for another 5 years max. One of the bottles tonight was a bit of a leaker with wine on the outside of the cork, but I detected no flaws. Was it wine that was left there ar bottling?

A bottle of this was opened at Grossie's house yesterday when benchland came into town. Not sure who brought it. This white Burgundy was dry with some tart citrus fruit and a grabbing midpalate. I do not think this sees much oak and it showed. Long smooth finish. 89-90 points.

Similar to previous bottle but a little disjointed. Good QPR.

Excellent. Quince, pear, beeswax, and a touch of spice. A little "fat" and a wine that will continue to age nicely for another 3-5 yrs.

An excellent barely-oaked white burgundy. Bright acidity, with green apple flavors. Tasted like a 1er Cru chablis.
