Brass coloured with golden apple and pineapple aromas mixed with yeasty undertones and stony minerality. Ripe, honeyed and textured with crisp acidity and a long, layered finish.

Had this a few weeks ago, so very vague impressions only. Drinking well now, with a nice, rich, medium bodied mix of oak and fruit notes in a well done SA chenin blend (B+/A-).

Slightly waxy mouthfeel, tropical fruit, floral qualities and melon, good structure and balance, an attractive quite classy white, I must get to know this producer better.

I think this wine has balanced out more since the last time I drank it. It's really singing now. Light pale yellow, a bright and slightly floral nose. On the palate its well balanced between the fruitiness and the acidity. Melon and apricot but not overbearing. Full but also elegant. I was very impressed this time and maybe an extra year in the cellar really paid off.

Deep brass in colour. Shows compelling scents of accacia and chamomile along with fennel, musk and undercurrents of smoke. Medium-weight with bracing acidity and a persisting aftertaste featuring yellow fruit and lovely notes of honey.

Blend of 74% Chenin Blanc with 12% Clairette Blanche, 6% Viognier, 4% Semillon Gris and 4% Grenache Blanc coming from 7 different parcels all in Swartland. Barrel fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged for 11 months in a mix of large, used French oak. Golden yellow in colour. Rich and revealing on the nose showing off peach and golden apple with details of honey, beeswax and honeysuckle. Crisp and detailed with an effortless charm. So elegant and so exuberant all at the same time.

Honeyed fruit on the nose. A lot drier on the palate. Stone fruit with great acidity. Citrusy aftertaste. Medium bodied and very food friendly.

Must have been a bad bottle. Peanut skins and funk with none of the delicious qualities the 2014 showed.

Complex floral and ripe notes - very inviting; French oak on the front palate. Spicy. Bright fruit. Nice texture. Youthful. Long.

More waxy and wooly than the Kloof Street. Viognier clariette Blanche, Semillion Gris and Grenache blanc, and Chenin as a base.
Fresh and full on the palate. Really delicious.
