Starting to develop nicely, albeit still quite young. Deep color. Notes of dark fruit, cinnamon and cherry. Abundant fruit on the palate with medium tannins. Excellent. 89+

Opened for Christmas Eve family gathering. This is a versatile wine we are serving with both appetizers and dinner. More old world than new world and very good with food. Cheese tray, veggies, meatballs, ham and turkey. Nice merlot!

Decanted about an hour before supper. Dark color. Opens with a terrific floral perfume, set off by black cherry and oak notes. Just a bit of alcoholic heat too. Full-bodied with flavors of black fruit, chocolate, plum, raspberry and spicy oak. Will need some time to soften and integrate the wood. These wines age well- patience will be rewarded. 88+ now for me, 90 for Domino, and there's plenty of room for improvement as this approaches maturity. Try again in 2025+.

Best of the 3 bottles. Nice minerality along with cherry, plum, spices and floral notes. Good use of oak and very balanced. Drink now or hold for a few years.

This will be a three day experiment. On the initial taste tannic central! Almost not drinkable.
One hour in smoothing out a bit with leather, forest floor and earth. Not much fruit showing yet. Will revisit this tonight and see where it is at. 85 points
Transformation on Day 3. Fruit is present. Classic Washington Merlot with forest floor, spices, cherry and plums. A nice pencil lead quality on the finish. This wine is a cellar selection right now or a day 3 or 4 wine. Will update on Thursday. 91 points

Lush red fruit, with notes of green. A little bit more fruit on the Columbia, a little bit more minerality on the estate. But this is still quite hard edged. Not hard edge, but has good structure.

Notes of plum, spice and macerated cherry. Medium-bodied with soft tannin and flavors of plum and ripe dark fruit. Very nice.

A solid showing. Less oak than the last bottle with cherry, plum, subtle spice and menthol. Medium plus finish. Solid wine for only $11 on closeout.
