Opened up after 2 hours in the decanter, I would wait until 2025. Very perfumed and nice texture once the tightness dissolved with air. Light-medium body.

{bought on release, pop n pour from cellar} Savigny red and black fruits, nose took half an hour to develop. Good length, super balance, old Vines fruit enticing. A complete and satisfying package, though a little hidden and enigmatic tonight. If you're not patient tasting this, the wine will seem just good but it clearly has potential for more than that. 90 tonight, 88 for pleasure and 91-92 for it's potential, structure, quality of the fruit. About half-way to it's flowering; will try again along the way but tastes like another 5 years will lead to more overt pleasure. 2015s may need time...

Terroir-istes International - France, Burgundy, Auxy, Beaune, Savigny, Corton (Bishopscourt): (Tasted Blind): Light to mid-garnet hue, revealing an orange rim that suggests a touch of age. Aromas unfold with plenty of ripe fruits of Bing cherry, spicy oak and blackberry. Delightly perfume with a noticeable lift, I liked the diverse array of fruits. Bright, loquacious, and vivid, the oak spices linger long in the background. Black cherry over Bing on the palate with a sturdy foundation of tannins, somewhat dense. The spicy oak adds complexity, and there's a slight sweetness on the fringes of the fruits. Intense and fleshy with a cheerful brightness towards its long finish.

This was very good though still young; tannins more prominent and shutting things down a bit, but still shows very good potential; great value here
