Random bottle I ended up with. The nose has ripe red berries, some dry wood shavings, and some more interesting stemmy notes. The palate feels somewhat disjointed to me, starts with a lot ripe, and pretty spicy, red fruit. And then that’s it, really falls away in the mid-palate — you expect more and then it sort of just disappears. Kind of odd.
