had a few weeks ago but this was excellent. lots of white stone fruit but good acidity and lots of minerality. def on the lighter side body wise but in a really good spot to be enjoyed now and probably will stay in a nice window for the next 1-2 yrs before the fruit starts to fade.

Pure nose of stones, white fruit and petrol. The palate has good concentration and persistence. There are notes of minerals, stones, pear and orchard fruit. Classy.

This was an amazing pairing with stone crabs. It's a big and full Perrieres, more flashy and less elegant, but boy was it tasty. And has none of the 2015 heat and alc-y finish. Drink now or hold for another 12-18 mos.

love this. may need to buy more! at first i smelled limestone and white flowers; as it opens i smell sweet rice, some salinity; mouthful has rounded out - some sweet lemon, lychee, hints of creme brulee, good minerality, some salinity, very very good acidic cut. very pale pale gold color but the mouthful is medium bodied despite the color. I really like this and think its very compelling for the price. this is also drinking very well at five years of age.

Off the wine list at a restaurant for a good price. A photo of the DIAM cork because I did not shoot the label while in company. This was a fine Perrières, I understand the praises to this wine, also when taking the price quality ratio into account. It performed very well around the table, especially for those who had the scallops/ vanilla dish. My own pairing was slightly more challenging, but the wine coped very well however. Recommended and probably worth aging longer if you wish for it (with the DIAM cork results should be fine and free of premox?).

Showing some Meursault richness, but still quite oncstrianed. Some forwardness of 2015 but still very good structure, showing it will age. Can drink now but better in some years. Acid structure is good despite forward flavours.

Lemon lime acid energy, good amounts of grapefruit, melon and vanilla. Really enjoyable. Perhaps a few years too early with drinking it but it didnt matter.

High viscosity showing that this is a wine with a lot of extract and/or higher alcohol. Pretty notes of candied lemon zest, stoney minerality, chalk, mint, white flowers and some sweet spices. It‘s pretty full-bodied but not heavy, has medium-high acidity and feels dense but not over the top. Long finish. I am not the biggest fan of the 2015 white Burgundies, but this shows pretty balanced and the top-notch terroir is coming through. There is touch of alcoholic heat though, especially as the wine is warming up.

A private tasting (Restaurant Vineum, Rotterdam, NL): Tasted blind. This is a perfectly classical, stylish, elegant and flowing Meursault, succulent and ripe but minerally, seamless and refined, perfect oak integration, attractive hint of vanilla on the finish, very good persistence.

Refined not heavy. White flowers lemon zest. Beautiful with poached salmon.

Blind. Somewhat reductive, bark and herbs, a bit rustic, not the longest. A disappointment when the identity was revealed.
