Very solid basic Burg, really everything I want from a wine like this. Nice mix of fruit and earthy/savory textures, mid weight with a fine tart cherry finish. Well balanced, perfect with roast chicken.

Opened with the Hudelot-Noellat and Arlaud 2015 Bourgognes and this was my favorite. Very good concentration of ripe black cherry fruit with plenty of subtlety of earth, herb and spice. Solid length and providing lots of pleasure, though it should age for another 5+ years. Modest upside from here.

Red fruit, floral, excellent balance, and that extra depth that a good Bourgogne gets from a top vintage. There's plenty of depth and structure to support short to medium term aging. Of course drinking now is very enjoyable.

Medium ruby red. Palate gets sweeter (cough syrup) under red berries and a bit of rose. Medium acidity, a bit more could carry the cherry-pomegranate palate. Pretty soft tannins, easy to drink.

a good vintage for this wine, slightly darker ripe fruit with a medicinal touch to it, the whole bunch maceration shows through with a slightly herbal element . Finishes with fine grained tannins and a hum of acidity. nice wine

Opened with the 2016. To me this holds its own with a lot of much more expensive village bottles. Surprising weight and complexity for a bourgogne.

A good Pinot structure but austere and lacking flesh. Maybe should have been drunk by now. Shows some complexity but simply lacks flesh.

Felt a bit tight and muted. Did flesh out a bit over time with higher temp but most likely too young

Really enjoyed this over two evenings. Red fruit and spice. Silky and well-balanced. Drinking well now but no rush.

Easy drinking Bourgogne with plenty of fruit and no obvious influence of oak.

A very pleasant example of Bourgogne from a ripe year and a good maker. Pleasant now, better in a couple of years.

Good Bourgogne level wine. Soft Burgundian bouquet, light-bodied palate and soft, medium length finish. Excellent QPR.
