    Aroma/Bouquet - Cherry fruit, light alcohol/heat on the nose, some minerality, light cooked/nutty odor - 4.5/6
    Taste - Cherry, light tannins, light alcohol/heat, some minerality - 4.5/6
    Aftertaste - Mid length finish, cherry fruit continues, tannins fade, mineral/limestone fades, still some off taste - 2.5/3
    Overall - This wine has an oxidized related flaw (not a fault), fruit and tannins are balanced, however the flaw hurts the overall score - 1.5/2

  • PHMG WAG: 2014 Oregon Pinot Noir (Lyon Den): A step up in density and depth from the Fairsing. Still mostly red fruit / cherry with some earth and spice showing on the finish. Now-2020.
