Tasted this one yesterday and have put the comments under the Village Wine. Here is now the comment filed correctly: Mainly red fruit, spices, pepper and salinity, very good density and length for a genuine Burgundy.

Dark berries (blackberry and black current, maybe a sneaky hint of red current) predominate, with a floral aroma floating over the fruit. Muscular, sappy, tannic. Quite a mouthful for a basic bourgogne, albeit from a ripe vintage. Not quite what I was expecting, although that is not a bad thing.
First sip of alcohol in 4 weeks. Last bottle of this was like 2 years ago, the nose now is displaying more dark soils than I could remember. Also showing a lot more advanced development on the palate, no longer primary. Definitely ready to go now with bright acidity and ripe fruits, finished with a touch warmth and smidgen of oaks still lingering. Perfect bottle for a Tuesday night.

Two years after the last one, it’s time to do some research work and to check another one: on the nose soil and red fruit. On the palate beautiful red fruit: cranberries, red currant and soil. Good length and density. The wine is accessible and starts to open well. A pleasure to drink this Bourgogne punching clearly above it’s class.

Extensive Social Distancing Drink #6. Nose is not entirely clean, slightly bretty. On the palate, this is in semi-shutdown stage, no longer so exuberant like previous bottles. Time to wait.

Agree with some of the other TN's this is start to be less exuberant and close up. I coravin'd it. We shall see how it is next time I bleed out some more wine. Tart edgy red cherry all the way. Needs time to flesh out.
Day 2: this improved greatly. Air helped A LOT. Very fresh. Great structure for Bourgogne Rouge. Cherries Jublilee. Technical wine: 94, Enjoyment: 92 Raised from a 91 to a 93 overall. Good stuff!

This is drinking great at the moment, all primary fruits. Good spices and flower notes. Despite the hot vintage, no hint of alcohol or heaviness. Crisp acidity to counter the ripe fruits. Side-by-side, this is definitely more enjoyable than ‘15 Thivin (gamay). Very well made for an entry level wine, should be on regular buying list. 3/6.

So delicious. Really fantastic quality for the level. Looked better than a bottle a few months ago & indeed looks like it will continue to improve for a while yet. Nice to see some minerality & soil at this level and not just fruit.

Dark ruby in color. Floral with a hint of oaks on the nose. Good mouthfeel, dense and long for an entry level wine. Some fine and spicy tannins on mid-palate. Mouth-watering acidity to counter the ripe fruits. ABV 13% with touch of warmth at finish. Excellent wine for the level, drinking now and should last for years. 1/6.

This is ridiculously good for its level. It has a deep nose of black cherry, earth and mineral along with some pretty purple flower things. It is fleshy but precise with cherry stone coolness. The finish is energetic and long.

opaque dark violet color. Nose floral, black cherries, hint of spice. Palate initially rich bodied but as it sits, becomes more elegant; both red and black cherries at varied points, hint of baking spice, good acidity, some chalky tannins on the finish. Pricier than many other bourgognes but also has more depth/stuffing to my palate. 91 pts with upside.

On the heavier side, but well balanced, good length and drinks well. Thick red fruit (if that makes any sense!). Seemed a bit "unspecific". Not exactly my style, but I liked it, tho not very good QPR. I know, Burgundy, what can you expect.

Pop and pour, really nothing overly special. At this price point, a lot more is expected. Let this sit for a few hours and pour again. Had later , same thoughts , not very Pinot.Maybe more time needed ?

Red and black fruit, spices, cloves, concentrated, good length, behind the fruit tannins, I opened the bottle because I was curious. It’s a bit shut down, not fully open. I will wait a while before opening the next one.

Mix of red and black current, needs some air to unfold, adding weight and power during the evening. Impressive wine for the level.

Seems to be opening up but still could use some years or a vigorous decant. Very pretty and textural.

This bottle was pretty shut down day 1, opens up a bit on day 2 but I would still give it a few years. You can sense it's a quality wine though.

Beginning to close down (as are most of my other 2015's). Still lovely after an hour or so and a vigorous decant.

Not so long ago the 2015 hadn't shut down and was lovely. Not anymore, judging by this bottle.

More like a beautiful chambolle village than Bourgogne. Wonderful now or would do well with 5+ more years in the cellar.
