Long legs, lovely bouquet, tannins still pronounced and fruit beginning to fade. The cork was a bit dry through the core so maybe this bottle isn't a good representation. I have 5 bottles left so hoping that it is one off. After a good aeration the tannins began to soften, and the fruit came forward. Cabernet Sauvignon definitely takes center stage. Day 2: The tannins are still pronounced, and the fruit still receding, but that being said it still drinks nicely. Definitely punches above its original price point.

This continues as an above-average wine, suitable for your wine group. Very well blended. Aging well, though it may be moving through its prime drinking period. Best to take in one sitting. Enjoy.

Popped and poured through the aerator. I noticed that the tannins were a little more pronounced than the last time I tried a bottle. Very elegant wine with some interesting complexity mid-palate. The tannins smoothed out but still noticeable within an hour of opening a bottle, so still very nice. I think I will wait 6 months to open another bottle, although I am concerned this might have a shorter drinking window.

Bordeaux style blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, 5% Malbec, 2% Petit Verdot and 1% Cab Franc. Lots of dark fruit character with cocoa and cedar notes. Full bodied, with smooth tannins. I wouldn't wait a long time to drink this. Excellent value

Some Late Summer Samples: Vibrant purple color. Aromas of violets, sage, lavender, cola and cedar on top of plums and tangy black currants. Bold and punchy, chewy tannins, but surprising freshness. Plush but tangy black currants and blackberries, laced with cedar, cocoa powder, charcoal and iron. Notes of cedar, star anise and cola woven in nicely, with a deep, earthy finish. Lovely but could use two-to-four years of cellaring. 75% Cabernet Sauvignon blended with Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, aged 20 months in 70% new French oak.

I’m getting some nice secondary flavors and still plenty of acid/backbone. Drinks more like a right bank BDX imho

Super smooth and drinking extremely well right now. Delicate nose with a hint of gunpowder and a medium finish of blue fruit. At or close to peak...

Quite enjoyable straightforward Cali Cab at this point. Certainly worth seeing how it evolves over next 5 years.

Very solid Cali blend. Fruit forward, with a mix of red and black fruit. Some cocoa undertones. Good structure. 90-91.

Still drinking well and tasted great with a rigatoni with sausage dish. Dark fruit and plum character, full body ending with smooth tannins.

Felt it had nice balance, dark fruit, vanilla and a little bit of wood smoke on the nose. Reasonably well integrated tannins. Nice balance.
