Nose and Palate- Earthiness, something spicy, dark fruit, Absolutely silky, with a very full body and smooth, long finish. We love Conn Creek wines, and this is one of their best . Enjoyed with white pizza tonight- spinach and mozzarella as the sole toppings, plus a green salad with cilantro- lime creamy dressing. Superb

Held onto this one and glad to select it during prime consumption window. Medium+ in presentation and taste with decent finish. Big fan of Conn Creek and this was my first Anthology. Middle of the road offering amongst their price line and products. Slight cork tainting. Not sure if this fits in the winery $70 range; $50+ at other retailers.

One of our favorites! On the nose, deep earthiness and lovely black fruit, also on the middle and back palate. Smooth, silky mouthfeel, with a full, luscious body. Absolutely delicious with spaghetti, meatballs and garlic toast! 9/25/22 - Had tonight with sliced fresh tomatoes, fresh peas, mashed potatoes, gravy and a lovely walnut- cottage cheese loaf. Very nice.

On the palate, light berries, medium full body, silky, long finish, wth a light pepperiness on the finish. 1st half of the bottle paired with enchilada casserole, and Romaine salad. Absolutely delicious! 2/11/22- The other half of the bottle is enjoyed tonight with Margarita pizza with lots of fresh basil and red pepper flakesl! OMG! Perfect pairing.

Lovely inky purple color . A nose that is full of all the dark fruits.. On the palette, it begins silky and absolutely smooth, full mouthfeel with again all the dark fruits and something else in the background. Possibly cedar/ rose? Is a perfect pairing with spaghetti and meatball. 8/5/22 - We had the other half of the bottle tonight with the meatball and rigatoni and some great kalamata - feta pull-apart bread. A! perfect pairing.
Oh my! I really enjoyed this wine. It was the best of the night; enjoyed around the fire with good friends. It smells like red currant, stoniness, raspberry and blackberry. It tastes like blackberry, clove and cinnamon. The body is medium. The wine has silky texture. The wine has medium body, soft and silky tannins with a fruity finish, medium acidity.

A rich, smooth, pleasant treat. Nearly perfect balance. Lush berries and vanilla with spice. A good Napa cabernet, especially at its price. Needs time to unwind after uncorking or decanting (say 2 or more hours).

in the glass black/dark purple in the center.. rim turning brick red long slow thick legs. nose minerality/stone /graphite/pencil shavings fruit was muted smooth medium tannins still lively lots of acidity in the glass black cherry and smoke. finish is long..

Actually drunk on November 13. Lovely dark purple color, nose is medium with a romos of Dark berries ,predominantly. On the palate, this is very smooth and silky, full bodied, tasting of dark berries, mostly marionberry. It went exceptionally well with a meal of mediterranean style pizza on naan bread.

On the nose, Rich, dark, fruity with a hint of earthiness. On the palate, silky smooth, dark fruits Before food, a hint pepperiness. With the food it mellows out the pepperiness. A near - perfect pairing with mushroom garlic pasta, bread-and-butter
Way too much vanilla, which obscures the fruit. Perhaps this will integrate better with time, since there does appear to be some decent fruit hiding underneath. Three bottles left and will hold. If drinking now I'd match with burgers or even barbecue.

Solid as always. Wanted to try this 2014 rather than drink the couple 2013’s I had left and was happy I did. Noticed tartrates crystals on the cork as soon as I opened so figured it would be good. Very smooth Napa Cab. Lots of fruit and drinking very well but will continue to get batter for another 5 years or so.

On the nose, earthiness , layers of dark fruit underneath. The palate again shows full mouthfeel, overall a balance With earthiness, and leather in the forefront, with dark fruit and tannins providing structure. Completely delicious, One of our favorites, never disappoints. Tonight we had it with chicken thighs over mashed potatoes and a dark mushroom sauce with peas and sliced tomatoes. Great!
2/11/202] Had the other half of the bottle with individual pizzas made from naan bread, goat cheese arugula and cherry tomatoes seasoned with carmelized onion, and garlic, then drizzled with dark truffle oil. This was, as the last time we had it in October of 2019, heavenly and a nearly perfect pairing.

At home with Gavin. Simple but balanced and pleasant Napa Cab. The nose had showed a nice drift of ripe cassis, earth and tobacco spice. The palate was nice and round, with velvety tannins and bright tingly acidity wrapped around a core of cassis. The finish was decent rather than impressive, with a little blush of warm spice.

Better vineyard sourcing, or vineyard sourcing at the highest level apparently. Purple black and blue fruit to the other. Not as ripe as some in Napa and more charming for it. With some spice and freshness on the back of the palate. Served under Coravin, I bet with some air it will open up.

This is not a wine I'd normally buy. Mainstream, relatively large production Napa cab with middling reputation. However, a local retailer offered this as a closeout at $13, so I grabbed six figuring it would make nice party wines or gifts if I didn't like it. Tried a bottle the next day. It was, about what I expected. Relatively ripe, easy drinking, forward cabernet. It has some recognizable cabernet qualities to it, and the oak, while present, isn't distracting. Overall a decent wine that would pair well with roast beef or burgers; nothing too serious like a rib roast.

Hard to distinguish any fruit flavor other than generic berries. But it is smooth with a good mouth feel - just enough tanins. Aroma has a hint if tempranillo(?). Overall satisfactory. But the cork has a fairly significant amount of crystal type residue. I've seen this before on other wines. Wonder if the wine would be even better without the issue that caused this. I guess I should research the subject a bit more. Sorry.
Attar of roses, cedar earthiness on the nose AND on the palate. Wonderful full body and perfect balance! Great with Michael's marinar a gravy over spaghetti and with garlic toast! The perfection continues with shards of parmesan cheese, and delectable dark chocolate with Cayenne!
