  • Remainder of bottle after several Coravin glasses taken out over past few months. We both love this wine - drinking very well but plenty of life left in it. Wish I had bought more.

Pale garnet. Cherry, raspberry, clove, sous-bois, liquorice, chocolate. Tannins are now quite soft and well integrated. Alcohol at 13% the same. Medium+ finish. Excellent PQR.

  • Simuler to previous notes, perhaps slightly more development (bottle had had a couple of glasses taken out via Coravin). This is drinking perfectly now - will be hard not to keep my hands off the remaining bottles.

  • Medium garnet. Lovely nose of primary and tertiary - red fruit (red cherry, raspberry), spice, sous-bois, rose petal, liquorice, chocolate, smoke. Developing. Dry, med+ acidity, med alcohol (13%) and body, med- tannins, soft and supple, long finish. Great mouthfeel. Just delicious and drinking beautifully now, although it has the structure for further development.

  • Medium garnet. Lovely nose of primary and tertiary - red fruit (red cherry, plum), spice, sous-bois, rose petal, liquorice, chocolate, smoke. Developing. Dry, med+ acidity, med alcohol (13%) and body, med- tannins, soft and supple, long finish. For a supposed village cuvee, this is amazing. Has the potential to develop further but will be hard to keep my hands off the other 5 bottles, its drinking so well now. Great QPR at en primeur.
