This was opened 5pm and by dinner this was singing. Beautiful jasmine, white fruits and just so precise. Drinking better than the 2017 I had a couple weeks ago but perhaps the 2017 will eventually surpass this.

Precise, balanced and elegant chassagne with characteristic flint, struck match reduction but plenty of ripe white orchard fruits coming through. Agree with most tasters that the lack of zip and uplift from acidity means this should be enjoyed now as it won’t get better but should be at this level for quiet a few years yet.

My first bottle of ramonet. It’s ready and matured so not sure if it’s pre-mox given the young age. However, it’s perfectly fine to drink it right now with honey , apricot note and good acidity. Still have 4 bottles to go.

First Saturday in May and a monopole day. The Ramonet CM Clos de Cailleret 2015 presents a good expression of the warm vintage, but keeps a good balance. Hints of apricots, a little pear but still a good acidity and minerality. Definitely an early drinking wine.

This Ramonet Chassagne Montrachet Clos du Cailleret 2015 confused all of us in the Chassagne flight as it tasted rich and sturdy like a Grand Cru, but it also tasted slightly older than we had expected. Tasted blind – Ripe yellow fruits, double cream, chubby minerals and hints of phenol. Lower acidity and riper fruits which are good indicator of a warm vintage, 2012? Heavy weight like a Batard Montrachet? The creaminess reminded me of Faiveley, a bit clumsy. (88-89/100)

Mint, lemon and playful spice on the nose. The mouthfeel is round and creamy, with peach, apple and oily citrus flavors, already quite expressive and so delicious!

Redcutive nose of peach, tangerine, mango, pineapple, lemon, stone, honey, chalk, smoke. Great concentration and weight; the palate is spicy, layered, so textured, impeccably clean and broad. An outperforming 1er cru. 94

Dinner and wine tasting at Treville office (Copenhagen): Young but with fine balance in this warm year. It has some exotic fruits flavours and notes of citrus and mint. Very nice but will improve with more age.
