Great flavorful merlot from P-L next door to chateau latour-Martillac. Red cherry, cherry cola, cassis. Dry med- tannins with a great mocha, anise and licorice backbone. Could carry a bit more depth to really shine for a higher score but otherwise it's really a great showing! Lovely finish as well. Decanted best at 2+ hrs. Probably could go a handful more years but doesn't have an eternal shelf life.

Ready to drink now. Enjoyable wine, but still a bit expensive I think. Do not buy for full price (359). Scent of mandel in aftertaste. Nice bouquet - the best of this wine.
Anmelderrost, koncentreret, fyldig og elegant rødvin med noter af chokolade, brombær og tobak. Vinen er skabt i et flot blend af Cabernet Sauvignon og Merlot.

Well balanced and well matured. Good concentrated fruit, cassis and ceder. Smooth medium+ acid and tannins rounded by age in the bottle. Good balance. Medium lenght. Good timing to drink this wine now.

2.5 hours in decanter. Red fruits, hint of smoke, a bit of cool sensation, herbs and tobacco finish. Med body. med+ tannin. Seems polish with some power, yet not powerful enough for an rib eye steak. Wine tasted better without the steak, drinking fine now at this stage but got lots of life
Smoky red fruit, olive tapenade and earthy notes work well with the medium bodied, soft, elegant, silky smoke and tobacco finish. This is the best vintage of La Garde ever produced. Drink it on release or age it.

Soft, sweet, dark red fruits, earth and black cherries. The wine is sweet, fruity and fleshy with an open, dark, red fruit filled finish, with just a hint of peppery spice in the end note.

We did not agree on this one…I was at 91 and Nancy was at 89, so we split the difference. In any event, a really friendly wine!
Cheers!

With some minty power to it. And kinda such a good way. And with some gumption on the pallet.

Cabernet sauvignon 52%, Merlot 45% and Petit verdot 3% blend from Left Bank. Cassis, plum, leather and smoke. Delicious!

Rotbeering, mittlerer Körper, sanft, Tannine gut abgebaut und schön integriert. Toller Alltagsbordeaux, schon super Trinkreife.
