On the first day way less impressive than the 2009.
Quite fresh still and not as much honeyed fruit as the 2009. Feels more dry… more acidic fruit and a bit minerality.
On the second day bouquet gets much better so it took a bit time to open up. Now quite fruity and slowly signs of honey but still acidic and fresh. Acidity clearly hints at many more years of cellaring possible here.
Contrary to the 2009 the body feels even a bit more weighty.

On est face à un bel aligoté, qui semble légèrement élevé. Nez noisette, amande, fond florale. En bouche c’est minéral, matière en demi corps, ni trop puissant, ni trop tendu.
Du plaisir en l’état dans un registre efficace et simple.

Lovely wine and as a poor man's chardonnay this one gives some of the better known burg whites a run for their money.
Mineral and green apple notes on the nose. The wine has a defined structure and is nicely balanced on the palate with ample acidity and a slightly peppery finish. With slightly warmer temperatures I get a bit more buttery and creamy texture and also notes of pears. This is a wine which one would serve cold and enjoy over a longer period of time to witness its fractioned release of sensory pleasures.

Not much change in a week :) still delicious with the mix of marine and citrus notes on the nose and palate which as a really fresh feel to it and a nice length

Very open for business, white flowers, passionfruit, chamomile, something herbal too like lemon-thyme. No reduction going on here, but some sulphides in the background. Very mineral-driven palate, nice peachy/white nectarine flavour profile. Quite juicy with brilliant, lively acidity that sort of fades in and slowly fades out like a bell curve. Gorgeous wine.

Liked this allot, loads of saline minerals and citrus undertones on the nose, similar palate with loads of acidity and surprisingly long length for a young aligote

A private lunch (Restaurant David Toutain *, Paris, France): From vines planted in 1929 and 1948. Lovely pungency on the nose, unmistakeable Aligoté typicity, mineral depth, just a hint of reduction; light and tight palate, ripe acidity, juicy and silky, seamless, lovely tart citrus fruit (lime zest, lemon juice), hint of cream; very good persistence and lovely salinity on the herbal finish. An excellent Aligoté.

Salty, almost no fruit, a bit creamy, little acidity. Lacks characteristics that make you want to drink the next glass.

Zingy acidity, some light tropical notes of grapefruit and mango. Excellent glass for lunch or aperitif.
