Smoky, brett-infused, earthy, gamey...the palate follows with smoky, meaty, nicely rich wine - medium bodied. Balanced with tangy acidity - nice structure. Feels northern rhone in style...Surprisingly good, considering my mixed past with Bonny Doon's wines...solid wine, good price.

Nice. Very non-agressive for CA syrah. Jammy fruit, but mild backbone. Slighty creamy on the finish with little tobacco and anise notes. Good overall. Food-friendly. Good pairing.
Paired: Braised short ribs w/ parsnips and mashed potatoes

Still deep; smokey, jammy nose, cherried, heady; loaded with fruit, gutsy tannins; yet to peak, powerful. 14>
