  • About a year after my two previous bottles, I like this pale coloured pink from Niellucciu, Vermentinu and Syrah just as much, if not more. It is distinguished from most pink by its lively berry fruit, fine minerals, tangy acidity and grippy backbone. Moreish but at a modest 12.5% alcohol that does no harm. Good+.

  • The pink tints are so discreet in this rosé that I checked the varietal contents on the back label to confirm that I had not pulled out the white. No boiled sweet notes this time perhaps due to the seasoned couscous pairing with which it went very well, the wine's strong minerality piercing through the dish's spice. Good+.

  • Made from Niellucciu, Vermentinu and Syrah, this very pale salmon coloured and medium- bodied rosé is fresh fruited, lively and mineral with good acidity and backbone and I would rate it even higher but for a touch of boiled sweet flavour. Good.

Retasted on 6/15/2017 and still holding up well with the boiled sweet notes less in evidence.
