A softer more muted style, less acidic and not always for the best, subtle citrus fruits, melon and pear notes still present. Could be fading so would respect the window and drink up very soon.

N: Grass, poss cat pee, melons coming on with swirling
P: Med, poss MF, body; Rndish entry with NICE, almost swtish frt firmed by a somewhat astringent structure which slowly loosens its grip as it transitions into the LONG, somewhat tangy finish with a certain swtness & hints of bitterness. For now & IMHO (early) '19, as based upon previous tastings, it MAY be beginning to lose its charm? My VG-/VG. 90 pts & #57/100 of WS's Top Wines of '17, and 87 pts @ $19 from WE. Aromas of key lime, beeswax and flowers. Flavors of lime, tangerine, wet stone and a bit of grassiness. Ends with a 15+ second finish. Has a really nice acidity and great for the warmer weather.

P: Med body; RNDISH entry with nice frt met by a very, VERY slightly astringent pucker which pretty much loses its bite by the fairly LONG, tangy finish with occasionally the BAREST hints of the mid-P bitterness, yet ULT with just a TOUCH of honey? [For whatever reason, I've liked other bottles of this more.] My G+/VG-. 90 pts & #57/100 of WS's Top Wines of '17, and 87 pts @ $19 from WE. [Other than 1 source, this vendor's $12.95 beats everyone else in wine-searcher's June 2018 posting by at least $1.]

Opened last night and then refrigerated. Relatively light in color. Minty, green tea nose. Very light and refreshing in the mouth. Flavors trend toward grapefruit. This is a delightful bottle, and would serve well with chilled shellfish. 4-12-16-8: 90/100.

P: Med, poss LM, body; Almost swtish frt (grn olives) met by balancing acidity which morphs into a LONG, tangy finish with notes of honey. For now & likely through '19. SUPERB QPR @ this vendor's $13.99, which one would be hard pressed to beat. 90 pts & #57/100 for WS's Top Wines of '17, and 87 pts @ $19 from WE.

N: Nice melding of grass & tropical frt with floral notes as well, grn olives coming out with addtl swirling/warmth
P: Med, poss MF, body; QUITE rndish entry with ALMOST swtish frt off-set by zesty acidity which SLOWLY mitigates over the LONG, ult honied, very, VERY slightly bitter finish. While I felt this was approaching threshold R.S. [the winery's stats above argue against that], I still felt it was a nicely done S.B. for drinking now & probably through '19. 87 pts @ $19 from WE [This vendor's $12.95 currently beats the next lowest on wine-searcher by $1.]

N: Tropical frt (pineapple?) with grassy undertones
P: Med, poss MF, body; Rndish entry with ALMOST swtish frt (approaching threshold R.S.?) adequately balanced by an acidity which, if anything, seems to build into the LONG, very slightly bitterish, very, VERY slightly honied finish. At this juncture, poss still coming together, could well improve through the remainder of '17, then drink nicely through '18, POSS longer? 90 pts & #57/100 of WS's Top Wines of '17, and 87 pts @ $19 from WE. [As of late Feb '20, wine-searcher still shows 3 sources from $15-$19].
Addendum: Also tasted 10/7 & 11/25/17, + 2/10 & 4/21/18.

P: MF, poss Med, body; Rndish entry with almost swtish frt (with a slight, grn olive tinge) BEFITTINGLY balanced by acidity as it evolves into a LONG, SOMEWHAT honied finish with the barest hint of a very slight bitterness. A nicely made food wine which could also serve as an aperitif. 90 pts & #57/100 of WS's Top Wines of '17, and 87 pts @ $19 from WE. Loads of fruit on the nose and palate, featuring ripe honeydew melon, Asian pear, and lemon/lime throughout. Subdued acidity, but very tasty.

From a very larger producer here is an overpriced SB with mild fruit expression which you can find in better produced wines for less money. Avoid !!
