  • Ruby with beginning bricking.
Classic Bordeaux nose of black currant, some leather, not overwhelming.
Palate is lean with apple-peel black currant, cherry stone, mouthwatering with a dry finish with grape-peel.
Will keep but is probably plenty mature.

  • Loads of decadent fruit with ripe plumbs, figs, raisins, coffee bean and earth. The Merlot is singing here. Juicy complexity, fresh with just the right amount of structure. Fantastic finish with licorice and integrated oak accents. Beautifully balanced and so so drinkable. This is a great value. Drink now or hold but not too long. 2021-2024.

  • This was surprisingly light-bodied and rather fruity to me. Quite acidic. Substantial smokier flavors come through too. Didn’t really like this, but wouldn’t go so far as to say I disliked it either; was expecting more based on other reviews though. Makes for an OK lighter drinking table wine when having meat.
