  • Not very aromatic, but offers hints of mineral and lemon citrus. It's medium-full bodied and structured with very good fruit concentration. Mineral and lemon citrus flavours are lifted with bright acidity and a lively mid-palate. Touch of glycerin on the mouthfeel. Long, dry finish.

  • 12,5% alcohol, 1 g/l residual sugar, 4,9 g/l acidity. Tasted blind in VV.

Pale green color. Aromas of ripe red apples, some tangy green apples and that's pretty much it. Pretty linear nose. The wine is crisp, lively and medium-bodied on the palate with clean flavors of tart green apples, steely minerality, some bright zesty tones and a hint of star fruit. The wine might be rather one-dimensional flavor-wise, but to me, this is positive neutrality. The acidity is high, lending good intensity and sense of structure to the wine. The finish is quite long with mouthwatering acidity and bright, lively flavors of tart green apples, some citrus fruit tones and a hint of sweeter red apples.

A nice, balanced and vibrant Chardonnay that is very Chablis-like in style. Not really ripe and fruity in Mâconnais style, this is bright, quite lean and mineral. Not really anything particularly interesting for a wine to be drunk on its own, but perfectly acceptable for an everyday wine for lighter dishes. Priced according to its quality at 13,59€.
