P&P with schnitzel dinner. Inky color. Dirtt & leather plus oak & blueberries/blackberries on the nose. Firm tannins and a ton of alcohol. Long finish.

Tasted like hot soap. This is a great wine for you if you like VERY HIGH alcohol. Too hot for any food. This is probably due to the screw cap. Corks allow minuscule amounts of air in the bottle so the wine can age properly.

First hour - deep jammy soak toure troubles away and party like you just dont care 94 / 95. Then after that a touch to much power comes through and the awkwardness penetrates through to disrupt the hammy nirvana.

Drank post 4 bottle blind tasting of Shiraz/Syrah. Big full flavored Aussie Shiraz and Cabernet blend. Deep opaque purple to inky black. This would have been the most aromatic and fruit forward of the wines tasted. Prominent nose and taste of blueberries, ripe plum, blackberries and cedar with notes of cocoa. Full bodied. Low tannins and medium acidity. A little over the top? Yes, but still damn good. 91-92.

Vindredi (Aussie Reds) (Bellevue, WA): Nose of wood and earth. Sweet fruit; black cherry, raspberry, and baking spice. Firm tannin, with a little bit of a sweet finish.

Blackberry and plum. Oaky, very bold with strong body but very smooth to drink.

This is a very special wine. Rich fruity deep, dark and brooding at 15%. Slightly acidic and some granite on opening. Very enjoyable.

Not worth hype or price. Overheated exhausting wine. Drank and enjoyed. But won't by again.
