Pale garnet in the glass and a lot on the nose: ripe raspberry, plum, red capsicum, clove, white pepper, and burnt raspberry jam. There is something leathery - I wonder if it's not some Brett. On the palate, there's a lot of baking spice, like mulled wine and hot cross bun. Not a knockout, unfortunately.
