Really classic Nahe Riesling from a very good vintage. Straw yellow with green hints. Classic nose of green apples, lemon, lime zest, and a weak hint of petroleum. Fresh! Medium to full bodied attack, high acidity up front, a hint of licorice (!) on the mid palate, lots of dry extract in the finish, and then the aftertaste provides a fan of tastes in the citrus/green apple spectrum. Very long, very fresh, almost tannic, still a baby. Really an unevolved wine that should at least rested been five more years in the cellar. Superb quality, and a really good price/quality ratio.

Even better than last bottle. Give it 2 hours to breath preferably in a decanter. Completely different wine after a few hours. Great fruit, love the acidity. For me, 2016 is starting to overtake 2015 in terms of balance and harmony across the board. 2015 though is bound to become stunning once it all comes together in a few years.

Complex , fresh and full of fruit and citrus aromas. Might be too young, was at least to acidic for the food, pinnesteik. Probably good with sushi in a few years.

Light yellow colour. Lemon, some grapefruit, hint of kiwi, nice minerality. Great acidity - mouth puckering, some honey far back. Very enjoyable wine - although lacking some of the intensity of fruit found in ’15.

Light yellow clear with a green hue. Pop - Small bubbles form inside the glass. Nose with rubber tires, mild tropical fruit and hint of citrus. After a while and some air other tones like mild creamy brown cheese and florality. Raw honey on the palate that lingers. Very acidic opening that blends with the sweet honey in a fascinating way! The acid has green apples on taste. The acidity calms gradually and the palate becomes very complex. Caramel, paper, apples, spices and grass. A fun, fresh wine.

Tropical nose, peach, apples, perfume. Good acidity, dry, high concentration. Apples, tropical fruits, very ripe. Good, but more tropical and ripe than I like my Rieslings. A bit overwhelming.

Frisk stil, syrene dominerer litt over frukten nå.

Sitter lenge. 92p.

Mere struktur og syre. Skikkelig rålekker og strukturert. Lang og syredrevet. Mineralsk. Fantastisk vin! 93
