From a leaky bottle (first time I've encountered a leaky Emrich bottle). Thankfully I caught it early enough and the integrity of the wine was not compromised in the slightest.
Lacks some of the mid-palate weight and complexity its GG counterpart provides, but shows promise Bright citrus flavours and a strong mineral core. Very high acid, verging on austere and painfully young (especially if consumed with no food). Will keep an eye on my remaining bottles for leakage, but assuming none, I'm included to want to sit on the remaining bottles for a few more years.

Not much to add to others' notes; this is an exemplary entry level Trocken. It gained a bit of weight and complexity on Day 2 so no hurry and it will be interesting to revisit in a couple of years. There is a slight hollowness in the middle and it is distinctly acidic, but it works very well with food.

First of a case purchased on release. Drank this on its own out of Zalto Universal stems, letting it open and warm in the glass. Acid driven, possibly even a touch spritzy at first, though that calmed down. Still quite young, not the least bit flabby or over ripe. With some air, the acid stopped being the soloist and started to support the good deal of fruit, starting with citrus, followed by some stone fruits hiding underneath that I think will come through more in time. The level of minerality is fantastic and the finish remarkably long and bouncy. We were curious to see where this fell in comparison to 2015 Keller Von der Fels and ultimately felt the VdF is more open and expressive now, but this will probably get to a similar level eventually.
I'm utterly confused by the note from Eric Guido in 2017 saying he wanted more acidity. I know Eric to have a very discerning palate, but that comment can't possible be on the same wine as I drank! This wine is vibrating with electric acidity. It can't be a matter of time - acidity doesn't come and go that way. Maybe his bottle was a little less than perfectly stored or transported? This one came through Sussex, so about the best provenance one can get in terms of temp control.

Easygoing nice fresh and crisp Riesling, not that complex (what can one expect for € 12 a bottle): citrus, tropical fruit, papaya, soft minerals, stone, light body, dry solid finish

The German Crush Tour; 10/8/2017-10/16/2017: the '15s are something... acidity is very bright but there is so much complexity and layers of stone and bright white peach. Perhaps a hint of tropical note as well. on the finish - savory herbs and a hint of sweet peach. (very dry wine - 5g RS)

Golden, clear with wide drops. Gooseberry, lychee, lime peel, petroleum and touch of leather nose. Peach, apricot, gooseberry, petroleum, touch of syrup and sweetness taste. Bright and vibrant, with splendid fruit and balanced acidity overall.

A Rieslingfeier of our Own; 2/13/2017-2/18/2017 (Traben-Trarbach, Germany): I quite liked this iteration of dry riesling. There's something exotically tropical on the palate of this, and while it's certainly quite acidic, it's never in your face about it. Gentle and fresh, this is an excellent entry level trocken.

The nose showed intense crushed-stone minerality, floral undergrowth, and green apple. On the palate, I found soft textures with ripe stone fruits and citrus. The finish was remarkably long with tart citrus and melon. I wanted more acidity.

New name/label for "Frühlingsplätzchen trocken" in order to comply with VDP rules and to avoid confusion with the GG. Very pure, warm fruit on the nose. Clean and bright with a nice mineral core. Juicy, fresh and round. 91-92+

Entry level fresh Riesling: minerals, tropical fruit, stone, lemon, grapefruit, average finish. Hits the spot on a hot day like yesterday.
