From half bottle there is just a gentle prickle where the bubbles used to be but this was delicious none the less. You start off with some grilled nuts, crème brulee and tart tatin. There's a vinous peachiness on the palate and plenty of savoury bready nuance. You get some fruit rind tartness to the finish and a whip of minerally acidity.

Have had three bottles of this and this was the best and freshest. Still has some rancio nuttiness coupled with caramel development and toffee apple aromas and flavours. It still has some bead and is full and rich in the mouth with a line of citrus acidity. Length of flavour is excellent.

Not quite as fresh as another bottle we had recently but quite nice with its nutty/sherry like aromas and flavours. Quite good intensity and length and still a whip of acid to the finish.

This bottle only had about 7 bubbles left in it, which was ok because it meant we all got one each, but what a marvellous old Champers it is. It starts out with a note of grilled nuts. With air there are mushroom and truffle things along with a little honey and curry leaf. In the mouth it is rich and savoury with plenty of earthy notes countering a little caramel and a big lick of minerally acidity. It is extremely long and partnered some Coffin Bay oysters most amiably.

Fantastisk gyllene färg som övergår till bärnsten i glaset. Bra mousse fortfarande frisk, både doft och smak var gammal, svamp och trä. Smaken var lite kort men god.

Very nice. Still some bubbles and a hint of almond extract.

Again the apricot and caramel notes. Some hazelnut, honey. Similar profile to the DP, only perhaps not quite the depth and length. Lovely.

From magnum. Gorgeous and a real treat. Two mags of Moet recently (64 and 66) and both have been outstanding.
