  • Overall: solid wine from sonoma that is balanced with a surprising amount of structure left for the age and origin.

Appearance: deep ruby, although poured a touch lighter in color than many new world wines

Nose: fruit forward, touch of leather, hint of rubber, well integrated

Palate: medium-high tannin, medium-high acid, full body; first comes blackberry and plum, then some subtle herbal green notes. Rubber comes through a bit, as well as some light spices. Same as the nose this is well integrated and largely fruit forward with quite a bit of structure. Seems very young still.

Finish: long, dry; chalky; moreish and pleasant
