Killer with grilled meat, chicken and veg. Fruit forward and a perfect pairing. Not sure how it stands up without the food. Might be a bit much but this was a great pairing

Not in love - i think it could still use another year or three (or more air) to seek better balance. On opening it was disjointedly acidic, but that got better with a night of being open. Honestly it could just use a little more fruit/body. Not great QPR, much as i love these guys' sense of humor/verve.

3 year check in. Crunchy fruit, nice acidity, tannins have softened but still quite present. Bright red fruit, salted plum, pomegranate, Jolly Rancher watermelon candy. Needs a few hours of air, and not too cold. Med- in mouth, juicy 30 sec finish, plenty of sediment. Well made in this style, great QPR.

Really easy and engaging daily drinker. Nice spicy whole cluster aromas. Super low acid and the finest tannins imaginable. Finishes flat and short besides a touch of funk.

Mourvedre & More: Really cool aromatic display of black cherries and spiced cranberry sauce, roses, black pepper. Bold tannins but crisp acidity. Crunchy black cherries, pomegranate, lots of baking spices and dark, earthy, charcoal notes but also airy, lifted notes. Complex minerals underneath. Really pretty, I’d love to crack open another in three to five years.

Consumed over 3 days. Was better on days 2 and 3, as the aromas were a bit disjointed and reticent on opening. Red fruit, grenachey personality comes through here, and the impression, despite the low alcohol, is of a somewhat riper style than one usually gets from D&R--it's still relatively cool though. There is an intriguing salty note on the palate. Good with a burger and served at cellar temp. Definitely needs some air to show it's stuff.

Decanted about 90 min. Bright, cheery ruby color which matches the palate! Just so easy to drink, very friendly with great length and balance. Strong fruity Grenache (I think) nose. Go for it!

12.3% abv. Dark ruby, expressive aromas. Raspberry, cloves and a floral component. Good mouthfeel, depth and length. Refreshing and energetic. Young, enjoyable and will get even better.

Decided to take one of these for a spin. Has some wafting notes of iron and meat as it opens in the glass. Shows super-fresh right now, vibrant cool red fruit profile that is light bodied, yet bears some power. The palate is clean, balanced, and finishes with a touch of mint and a salinity that is really interesting. The wine feels young, while drinking now provides straight forward pleasure, I'm interested to see this again in a couple years.

Super fresh and easy to drink. PNP one bottle, gave another 90 mins - while both delicious, I actually preferred the PNP - the acidity just smacks you in the face. Has enough to definitely age well - but I'm not sure my other 4 will last much longer.

12.3% abv....12.3! Dark opaque plum, light pink rim. Viscous leggy staining of tears. Explosive in glass: red berry, roses, cedar, roesemary, cinnamon. Med mouthfeel, tannins and acid right there on entry. Juicy red berry, red licorice, spice, toast, hint of menthol. Ethereal finish. Has the stuffing to age 5-7 years.

My first experience with Dirty+Rowdy and this offering certainly delivers. Like Robert Parker waking up from his worst nightmare in a concrete vat of cool vintage Rayas. Gorgeous perfumed aromas like the kind you would encounter while foraging for wild herbs and berries in a rock laden landscape. The palate feels like it could use some time to unwind but there is clear stuffing lingering alongside the succinct tannins and acidity. A bit of haunting wineyness I really enjoy on the finish. Certainly a refreshing expression of California wine for my palate. Place this next to a bottle of SQN and witness their mutual annhilation.

pop and pour. in a really good place. The acid is integrating, still a rush of brightness and savoriness of blue berry. Tannins in check.
