Soft and rich with scented notes of rose petal. The cherry fruit is a tad jammy and it lacked vibrancy or lift. The alcohol is not fully under control either, as it was rather hot and spicy. 83 pts

This is a superb wine for its relatively cheap price: it is very fruity, sweet, intensive and even syrupy, with lovely flavors of bramble, dark fruits and herbs. Many Châteauneuf-du-Papes do not offer the same enjoyment, quality and intensity as this one.

An utterly gorgeous Lirac. Red/black fruited, southern Rhone red. Too young to drink but impossible to resist. I only bought 9 bottles, I wish that I had bought a shedful. I have read how good the 2016 Mont Redon CH9dP is. If this Lirac from the same vintage is as good as it is, one can only surmise how good it's more exalted brother is!??!

Spices, cinnamon, dark cherry, raspberry, licorice, pepper. Really good, too young, give 5 years.
