Bottle: Fine, cork clean Look: Dark honeyed Nose: Honey, almost butterscotch fruit Body: Great fizz and bubbles (robust fizz and small trailing up bubbles) Taste: Initially very sautern-ish honey, later more slight orange fruit and very slight pear lemon. Finish: Didn't time it, but I recall around 30-40. Summar: Opened up and got better over time. Drink 'em up now, IMHO. Best with food. 86 pts B.

As usual, a quite good cremant from Schramsberg. However, this particular vintage appears to have less acidity than usual, so the finish isn't as crisp. Their bubbly usually cellars quite well, but in this case I'd drink earlier rather than later.

Drank as part of a 50th birthday dinner! Good coloring with a hint of straw on the nose. Flavors of straw, cream and a little yeast. I prefer a drier style but the group slurped this one up!

Pale gold in color with sweet citrusy aromas with melon, dough, honeysuckle, apples, and peaches. Taste follows aroma to a long sweetened finish. It's not a cloying sweet though. Nice balance.

Sparkler Sips, Day 2: Creamy, heavy, rich, sweet. I don't really dig this style, but they did a nice job. And I can add flora to the list of varietals I've tried. 88+

Poured at Gibby's December tasting. Yellow color, without much of a mousse or bead. Waxy peach and lemon notes. Light body and texture, with peach and beeswax flavors with a rather short finish.
