  • Georges de Vogüé tasting with Jean-Luc #3:

16 was mildest winter since 1900, cold April with heavy rain and frost on the 27th, ice coating on the buds in the morning acted as magnifier and the sun burnt the buds. Second flowering in May.

Rounder and more complex nose than the 1er cru. Red berries, red currant, cranberries, raspberry, anise and hints of chocolate.

Moderate oak, sky high acidity, spices, nice mineralty, fine tuned tannins. More structure and depth, huge wine, will peak late. 95p
