This was discounted down to $20. It's not bad but obviously fading away and drying out; the fruit is nearly gone. Formerly an excellent value but not worth buying today.

Highly aromatic w barnyard, leather, cinnamon, sweet tobacco, cassis, hint of violet P v rustic, iron twinged minerality, dark cherry, anise, hint of mocha on finish that is viscous and decent

We really enjoyed this and was a nice value at $17, in 2020 for a 5 year old wine. Berries, cassis, cherries, spice, pepper, garrigue, olives, minerals, and some funk IMO, a big step up from a CdR for similar pricing, maybe a few dollars more. Would buy again at $16.99.

Medium ruby coloring in the glass. Nose with a bit of ambiguous complexity: dark, ripe red fruits, almost jammy, and just a touch of spice on the nose - night even have a bit of smoke, but somewhat hard to pinpoint. Jam-like flavors of red fuit - cherry? Also drinks well with smooth tannins - an overall well balanced wine. She trailed off as she wrote her notes, which is usually a sign that she greatly enjoyed a wine. Drinks well now.

Interesting appellation I had not heard of. On PnP, nose was all fruit but over time becomes more earthy with a hint of latex. Taste is still dry from start to finish with residual pucker. Enjoyed with awesome BBQ pork ribs where the dry wine was a perfect complement to the sweetness of the sauce.

Ready to rock & roll after a 1/2 hour decant at lunch, then came back to it in the evening and wow. Spices had opened up big time on both the nose and palate. Intoxicating stuff.

Delicious GSM that's drinking perfectly now and probably has years left. Much better after breathing or with next-day bottle remainder.

Quite the rustic fellow, the domaine hasn't changed much; full fruit, plenty of spice, barnyard, a peasant wine.
