This is progressing nicely but still holding some back in reserve. Better on night two when the structure had softened and red fruit and florals were more pronounced.

Tasted over 2 hrs -med dark red minimal clearing -low key fresh black cherry boysenberry -med/med+ acidity, med weight sappy concentrated black cherry and some saline minerality, dusty med tannins -quite good, impressive power if not a lot of complexity at this stage, entering a prime drinking window

first Clerget from Thibault- Really enjoyable wine! Its still got a bit of tannin that needs to incorporate at this point but with food it really shines. dark red fruits, good minerality type freshness to counterbalance. I think this wine will still benefit from a bit of cellar time due to the tannin but its got a bunch of great potential

Pearl of Burgundy 2016 en Primeur tasting (Hong Kong): Nice dark and red fruit. Good concentration for this level. The Clerget offerings impressed me like Horiot, seems like the Cote de Baune is catching up in quality.
