A: deep, ruby N: pronouced intensity aromas of violet, blackberry, blueberry, vanilla, clove, yogurt, white pepper, dried herbs, earth, tabak P: dry, medium (+) acidity, high fine, integrated tannins, high ABV (just), full body, medium (+) intensity flavors, long finish on blueberry, violet. C: very good wine, balanced integrated tannins and ripe black fruit with lovely florals, precise, clean, elegant - it is not a Syrah that hits you over the head but is stil quite powerful - some complexity and intensity (not as much of the latter otherwise might be in outstanding category) and great finish. Drink now but will hold - and potentially improve - over coming 5-8 years.

Fun combination of black, blue and red berries throughout, supported with savory and sweet spice and subtly floral flourishes. Completely accessible and balanced and charming right now, but there is a sneaky power and sense of length that makes me confident of upside from here. A phenomenally great value wine.

Decanted for 30 minutes - sweet/savory nose of blueberries, cinnamon and meat. Soft attack on the palate with a lithe, elegant mouthfeel - very primary purple fruits and baking spices. A light undercurrent of loose-grained tannin lurks below the surface indicating that this will improve over 5 yrs but I'll have trouble keeping my hands off this stuff.

Deep in color, the wine shows spicy, dark red fruits, soft tannins freshness and vibrant floral notes in the end. This is already drinking in the sweet spot. It is quite a serious wine for the money.

La Tablee: Grand Tasting (26 Bridge Street, Brooklyn): More iron than there were on some of the Cuilleron wines we had right before. Lots of red fruits. Bit less acidity than some of the others, but still seems to work.

Sehr fein! In der Nase Blut und Fleisch, dunkle Beeren. Im Mund saftig, feines Tannin, eher kräuterig als würzig, saftig und lang. Nachkaufen
