Drank at Easter with family. Maturing very slowly. Nice nose of rocks and blue fruit. Stony blue fruit with good acidity on the palate. Finishes crisp and structured. Should have a long life ahead of it.

Improved and now accessible compared to a few years ago. Medium, round, crunchy, and dense, but linear. Sweeter style, mostly on the palate, if not slightly jammy. But there are still good clove, rhubarb, and cola notes that dry the palate and balance the sweetness. Drink 2021-2026. Technical score: 90. Enjoyment score: 91.

Found this to be closed and impenetrable, even on day two with 24+ hours of air. Musty and cloudy but only picked up some dried cranberry, cloves, and bitters. Linear but this should open up and improve. Drink 2021-2025. Technical score: 89. Enjoyment score: 87.

Very complex wine for the under $17 Garagiste price point. From B. Wasserman's label. Well-sourced Côte du Py for sure. A definite buy at this price level. Has a lot of time ahead of it too.

really tasty stuff. pure laser of raspberry compote, with a little smokiness and gently assertive tannin. drinking wonderfully, but also can go a little longer.

One and only bottle and seemed like a good choice for a less than satisfactory Tuesday. Mission accomplished. This was dark, ripe, nicely balanced and very tasty. Probably a little young - this was showing more tannins than would have expected, so probably should have left in the cellar. Went down very nicely however and made the end of Tuesday better....Good value.

This is a solid Beaujolais; not in the top class of Morgon from the likes of Foillard and Lapierre, but good and solid value. The nose has lovely rich fruit, floral notes, some minerality. Palate is good, lacks a bit of vivacity for my personal preference, but solid concentration and balance with nothing out of place. Should improve over the next couple of years and peak in the early 2020s.
