Pop and pour. Enjoyed outside in a plastic wine cup. Garnet color. Shows its age with the garnet / brick color. Nice nose of red berries, with a hint of brown spice. Good classic pinot, with a bit of a brambly fruit component and that nice savory spice note adding some depth on the back end. Enjoyable.

Floral, dark cherry nose, slight pine and spice; palate of sweet dark cherry, cola, streak of mild cocoa mid-palate; slightly crunchy and mineral undertones; this isn't an overly sweet, extracted new world Pinot; lighter tannins and acid, and not hot; delicious. I like this better than the 2013.

July 2018 Rivers-Marie Visit (At Mending Wall winery): Some heat on the nose? Lots of berry, juicy and crunchy acidity with darker fruit notes and the same kind of resiny note in the core, which is the same quality I found in the 2013 Sonoma Coast.

enjoyable, drinking well, probably no rush to drink up. Not much development of flavors from age.

Good red fruit. Medium to long finish. Glad I bought more!
