Great example of Diamond Creek. Nice aged cab with a more muted old world style as opposed to the high alcohol, high fruit that is typical of most Napa cabs.

Very nice wine. Sort of made in the old style of Napa Cabernet. Tannins have softened, but still very present. Fruits were muted with more of a leather and cigar box on the nose. Color was garnet in appearance. Wine did not improve over the meal. Did not regress either. If you have it and like fruit flavors-drink now.

EWG Celebrates Y2K (Conrad Green's Abode): Ripe nose showing stewed tomatoes. Rich and tannic showing like a aged Cab of fruit on the riper side. The weakest showing of the three.

Somewhat muted fruit after nine years. Lots of dark earth black berry aromas. Leather, leather and more leather. Palate is deep and robust with some nice acidity and alcohol levels. Finish is kinda short and the wine has certainly lost any energy it had a year or two ago. Still a very nice effort with some back palate depth.

Much, much better than last bottle or 2. Medium to full body. Dark purple color. Tight. Started showing fruit & flowers after a little while in glass. Can last. Hold onto this for a few years.

Solid new world cab, still has life left in it, but showing some age. Would be a good CA cab at $30, but not at the $150 release price.

Earthy, dark fruit, concentrated, still tannic. will wait for bottle number 2. Would like to see it open, soften to get more layers of flavor...
