One of the best South American wines I have ever drunk. Like a great Bordeaux, only stronger. Parker rating is a joke. This wine is delicate and powerful at the same time. The aromas change constantly. Lots of terroir.

Is it good?Yeah, but is it worth the pricetag? Not really,IMHO chilean cabs when they're good they taste like bordeaux, with a hint of mint And guava fruit...I can live without the mint and guava,so I'll be buying more bordeaux instead.

An absolutely beautiful wine. Dark color, thick texture. Decant and/or let it develop for a while. After ½ hour nose becomes full of secondary notes along with the cassis - palate is massive and finish is long. One bottle left. Keep or drink.

An amazing wine! Blackberries, black currants, ripe figs, loam, dark chocolate and liquorice on the nose. Full-bodied and ultra-smooth, yet perfectly round, with textbook tannins, rich fruit, balancing acidity and a very long aftertaste. Its pairing with a juicy and lightly sauced veal fillet was made in heaven!

High quality wine with beautiful blackberry fruit expression at very good condition for its age. My only reservation was that it could not be anything else than Chile, so it seemed to me as slightly predictable. But the same could be said for any wine with typicity, what is the problem then? I am not sure. A friend accused me of snobbery, but while I recognized the quality of the wine I found its flavours a little boring. I will have to think it over...

Surprisingly, this has matured quite a bit in the past 18 months since I tried my first bottle. Only a one hour decant is required. Although this top rated Chilean is a very high quality wine, it doesn't have the cellaring potential or or complexity of an equalivant priced premium label from Italy, France, Australia or Spain. Nonethless, it was certainly interesting to experience first-hand one of the best that Chile has to offer.

Drank at dinner at Mortons with friends. Good bouquet, smooth taste, great wine but not sure I would buy again at this price; there are definitely better values out there.

strong body. Oak still has great presence. Takes more than 1 hour to show full flavor. One of the best Chilean wines I´ve tasted (better than Almaviva - same vintage ... my humble opinion )

Classic Chilean blend - This was dark, brooding with notes of spice, plum and oak on the nose, it was very concentrated and complex, and got better with each sip (decanted for 5 hours beforehand) and the finish was excellent! (92 Points).

Still tight but smoothed out very nicely several hours after opening. This needs extended cellaring to really strut its stuff.

Air lively raspberry that the other carmenere based wine don't show. Lively mineral and nice. Not sure about that $95 price tag though!

tannined and stong, too young to be drank now, good concentration and fruit.
