Decanted for 2+ hours - PnP was very tight and needed it.
Medium faded garnet in color. Nose of cherry pie filling with a bit of a freshly baked pie crust, molasses, ripe strawberries, orange peel, violets and flower blossoms, a hint of eucalyptus, a mild hint of toasted coconut, and a mild hint of dill forward American Oak. Medium light bodied, medium high acidity, restrained, and refined. Palate of tart cherries, blueberries, leather, violets, and spices. Moderate tannins bring forward black tea. Long refreshing finish of tea, mild black pepper, black olive brine, graphite, granite, and a hint of star anise.
The nose leads me to think that I am about to get a very lush wine but you then get a wine that is very much aligned with the source vineyard. This really does drink like a Bedrock Vineyard Heritage, but with that American Oak twist.

Crimson in color. 14.5% ABV. 96% Zinfandel, 2% Alicante Bouschet and 2% Petite Sirah. Sublime nose of red fruits, anise and pepper. Medium body with medium acidity. Black cherry, plums and earth on the palate. Nice length on the finish. Soft, supple and approachable. Best over the next several years.

Very strong aroma, acid with very well rounded tannins. It’s in the perfect drinking window. Strong fruit flavors, of tangy cherries and blackcurrant, some flavor from the cast, mainly like leather (specially in the nose). Very tasty!

Greatly enjoyed this bottle and wish I had more. I understand the “restrained” comments having had a couple of glasses. Wonderful without being too big - perhaps there’s a lesson in this.

Color was fading at the edges. Medium purple, not opaque. Dark fruits on nose, not jammy. Flavor was well integrated with dark berry and hints of black pepper. Medium alcohol, low tannins. I won't hold our second bottle much longer. We prefer yound Zinfandels. Drank with marinated Tri Tip and polenta.

A restrained zin that is not for those that are looking for a big zin. Nice dark fruit flavor that matched remarkable well with the alcohol bite. On day 2 after a night under pump down was not so good as the fruit was gone and the alcohol stood front and center.

A more rustic style driven Zinfandel with typical red fruits of raspberry and an underripe strawberry character with a vegetal edge of rhubarb. With air some faint Tobacco aromatics emerge. I’m thinking another year or two before opening another.

This medium purple 96% Zin with touches of Alicante bouschet and Petit syrah has strong aromas of red brick, red raspberry and apple peel. It is off dry with a medium-size body. It has crisp acidity with medium tannins. Fair balance with flavors of red raspberry, red delicious apple and old oak. OK.

Restraint. Not huge. Rustic flavors. Food friendly. Might not hold much longer. Drink away.

Tight, light Purple fruit, light tannins, a bit of tobacco. Good, on the lighter side.

Good, solid Ridge. Good feel. Fruit is between red & black. Some smoke. Lovely but lacks the beauty of the Geyserville
