I would fill my thermos with this and take it to work for a pleasant workday. Loved the nose, with Vosne spice, dried florals and NSG brambly fruit. Crunchy red cherry, sweet red raspberry, savory black cranberry, a kiss of sweetness, dark bramble. Crystalline fruit with Med/fresh acidity (lacy alcohol a subtle back note). Transparent dark red in color. Lacks a little concentration, but the lighter bodied fresh style really works well with the brambly red fruit with a kiss of sweet. Quaffable 91-92. I enjoyed this a 92, but objectively a 91+. Sad this is now a $130-150 wine, as I won’t be buying anymore to fill my thermos with it!

Very light wood influences the otherwise pure cherry nose which continues through the slightly tart cherry focused plate with hints of red licorice. This wine is slightly lean through the midpalate and there’s a touch of hardness on the finish.
Edit: a bit better on day two. The wine has gained body and depth so it doesn't seem as lean.

Black cherry, black raspberry sorbet, citrus peel, and bark. Some deeper pitched dark berry bass tones allow for more accessibility and some sexy sauntering along the palate while still touting its youthfully grippy frame, enhancing both intensity and signs of succulent flavor (through a bit juvenile in expansion in its current state). Tons of promise here. Even better than when I last sampled this over a year ago. Outstanding.

Black and red cherry, bright red strawberry, orange peel, citrus blossom, and faint bark and spice notes. Some white pepper and subtle earth show up toward the back end, finishing youthfully grippy and slightly mouth-puckering. Focused and driven, with a speedy attack that keeps the core at a primary level but is still able to offer some expansion of flavor despite its infancy. Very well put together. Took an hour or two of air to really come around.
This made a Maxem UV and Aubert UV-SL come off a bit boozy and ultra-modern (though they were both quite flavorful and good in their own rights; obviously different styles).
92-94 points for this NSG.

HDH Burgundy Auction; 5/17/2019-5/18/2019 (Chicago, IL): Brilliantly crispy fruit on the nose and palate; fairly red in profile, but also some clean Nuits dirt (if that makes sense at all). The palate has some very nice red fruit, and shows a delicacy that I don't typically find in Nuits. The acid and fruit are bright, and there's a lot to love here. I wasn't the only one whose glass disappeared far faster than usual.

The nose is full of dark berries, smoke and tons of mineralite. There's a major vein of acid running through it that's a total delight. It just pops from the glass. This has a great future and is a great buy at $95.

Deep with blackcurrant and hint of tart. Quite approachable and enjoyable after 1h breath.

Wines tasted at HDH Celebration of Burg Auction - Day Two (Spiaggia): This is a super sexy and delicious wine. Shows more Vosne than NSG with sweet black fruit and loads of Vosne spice. A bit of toast too, which is well integrated and meshed with the fruit. So fun now.
