Not decanted and drank a little bit chilled. Fascinating fresh, reminds from style and colour to a PN but a little bit more spicy and rounded. NIce drinkable with a lot of aciidty but well balanced. Some red berries, wild, but in a positive manner. I guessed Jura and Troussaeu because it was unlikely a PN. Totally refreshing even in this young stage. 92+

Blind tasting. Brief note. Pours a star bright ruby red in the glass. Aromatics are intense with an exotic perfume of high toned berries, lavender, purple florals, baking spice, iron/blood, and a savory quality. Super fresh and juicy with great balance. One of my favorites of the night.

Opened before dinner and this was smelling pretty funky. Decanted for about an hour and then poured back into the bottle for transportation. During dinner I thought most of the banyard had blown off, leaving a very aromatic nose of red fruits, citrus, tea, and just a bit of funkiness. Bright with juicyness and minerality, lots of acidity. I enjoyed this a lot.

tasted blind. lightly cloudy bright ruby color. Nose intensely aromatic, bright cherries with hint of earth, some iron notes with time. Palate bright, juicy cherries with lightly chalky finish. One of my favorites of the night, great nose and so refreshing now. 94 pts

Great vintage for all the Gahier reds. Snap them up if you can find them -- the Trousseaus are worth the slight bump in price from the Vigne de Fort. Savory, smoky, olive-y, tea-leaf. Just delicious.

rose colored. strongly stony nose with an organic funk. forest and floral tones and fistfuls of dried red fruit and baking spices. palate is light and fresh with more tense stone flavors accompanied by cranberry, cherry, and red currant. just creamy. a light whiff of tannin on the back with a lengthy finish. great now and should evolve positively for a few years. good value.
