A darkening yellow. Nose of lemon sherbert, biscuits and white pepper; a beautifully balanced nose. Rounded and biscuity with lemons and apples. Soft with very few signs of age. This will last two or three more years.

Bright gold, perhaps starting to darken a little. Fairly restrained nose - some light nuttiness and a trace of apple. Flavours of apple with some hazelnuts and almond. Fuller than nose but still fairly tight - steely, perhaps. I think this still needs a little time.

This is starting to drink really well. Light gold, pretty shiny. Not massive on the nose - lightly roasted nuts, burnt butter, maybe some white stone fruits - all a bit ephemeral. Taste that's bigger than the nose. A beautiful balance of nuts (ground almonds/marzipan), apples and tropical fruits. A creamy texture with good acid and a savoury edge. Lovely!

Mid-gold, rich colour. Initially closed on the nose, but then a big woody, caramelised apple nose with white pepper, white stone fruits; caramelised pineapple, perhaps, with something a little zingy. Mellower in the mouth than the nose would suggest: very rounded in taste and texture. Apple pie, perhaps some peaches, good acidity. A soft mellow finish with a touch of acid lingering. A day later, the taste becomes bolder, giving almost sherry-like flavours.

Fresh nose of citrus and white flowers with a hint of gun-flint. Some reduction on the palate. Nice, bright line of acidity. Fairly short finish and it's perhaps slightly lacking in concentration, but then this is a 'lowly' Bourgogne Blanc. Very drinkable, if a tad simple.

Light gold in color. Striking on the nose with the classic scents of burgundy; French oak tones that coat the scents toffee, caramelized apple, lemon, starfruit, white and yellow flowers, subtle spice, rock and mineral. The palate is bright with focused and high acid and a balanced abv. Flavors of apple, white cherry, lemon and melon are met with a delicate floral component, spice, oak and mineral that linger through the long finish.

Wow! Belle évolution depuis la dégustation de 2017. Racé et frais, il s'est effilé, gagnant en précision, affichant une belle finale saline franchement complexe pour un vin de ce rang modeste. Une belle bouteille et un rapport qualité-prix très intéressant. 89-90 pts.

I really liked this. Honey-tinted light gold in colour. Unmistakably burgundy nose: wood, vanilla, toffee apples. A lovely light wood lingers in the nose. Perhaps some buttermilk in the nose too. Taste of creamy apples with some gooseberry-like acidity. Some balanced wood flavours. Really lovely depth and complexity. This really could be a from a far better known name or vineyard.

Very mineral when cold, oak is more apparent as it warms up. Lemon at first, then ripe stone fruit. Pnp over 4 hours

Lithe and nibble but with good depth of flavor. Fine boned wine, especially at the generic Bourgogne level.

Liked it, didn't love it. Nice and taught with some lemon and melon, medium-light body, and oak that emerged with time (day 2).
