Would not have picked this blind as a Vacqueyras. Doesn’t have the heat or over-extraction that some V. have. Tastes like a Côtes du Rhône from a warm year, a little out of balance but nice fruit. Red > black. Decent and reasonable price point.

Time must have been helping this one, because I liked it better than the most recent prior note, and that note was more positive than the notes before that. I found this one expressive and delicious on night one. Night two awaits.

I’m more positive on this than prior tasters - and I note more than a year later. It is jammy and a little tannic - if anything the jam is too strong. A little earthy and rustic. Don’t feel like this is screaming its origins, or incredibly interesting, but for around $19 its decent.

Very much my preferred style for Southern Rhones. Lovely dark color with red edges. The little bit of funk upon opening blew off quickly. Nose of cassis, back plum, raspberry coulis, cedar, garrigue, tar and violets. Flavors of sour cherry, cola, gypsum and licorice. Solid acidity and well structured tanins are powerful without harsh edges. Drinks well now but should age gracefully. A little dark and brooding right now it's already offering more flavors with air.

Purchased four years ago and glad I waited to pop this as it is drinking really well right now and I agree that this can go out another 4-5+ years.
Excellent.
Rich and opulent and fresh just as well. Garrigue and dark, bitter chocolate, ripe plum, olive?, some violet?, rich earth, some meatiness, but barely.
GSM, 80% Grenache and it is clearly Grenache in the lead here.
Would be great with a deep-flavored grilled steak and probably better with a winter stew.
Solid value at sub-$20 USD (2018)
15% abv, no heat noted

Learning to appreciate its rustic charm a little more than my prior three bottles. Tannic structure but it does have jammy Grenache notes

Somewhat heavy and hot. Not awful, but not very good. Better when opened up for a while.

One year on from prior bottle and review. Still not a fan. Heavy and bitter.

This needs a few hours to open up and probably needs a few more years in the bottle

Mary and girls tried at Kramer’s farm. Tasted like acetone. Did not like at all. Have one other bottle to try. Possibly a bad bottle?

Dark and dense. Musty red fruit aromas. Velvety dark cherry, cranberry and earth flavors. Lengthy and a little bitter on the finish.

Drank even better than before. Still improving. Sadly my last bottle. Enjoyed it with friends, they loved it.

Funky and sour upon popping the cork, after two hours of decant it tasted as great as before. Definitely give this baby plenty of air or cellar time.

Dark red color, heavy earthy smell and very thick, tannic and bitter. Need to give this some more time. Too heavy for my liking
