  • 90 mins slow ox. Black pepper, earth and crushed stone on the nose; Not catching any of the green notes mentioned from several years earlier. Tannins make themselves known but are nicely resolved. Really enjoyable on its own or with tonites rib eyes

  • A friend of mine recommended this wine to me. An absolutely amazing Pomerol - sure, quite young right now but already really enjoyable. A lot of red berries in the nose. Unripe cherry and berry notes on the palate, some green notes and bell pepper too - tannins very strong right now, let it breathe for at least two hours. Long juicy and mouthwatering finish. This wine has all a great Pomerol needs, it’s not overdone but it has all the flavors and depth you’re looking for in a great wine. Once again a great Bordeaux from the 2016 vintage. This will stay beautiful over the next 15 years.
